ISLAND 10 FISHING RETREAT BECKONS YOU Welcome to Island 10 Fishing Retreat on Lady Evelyn Lake in Northern, Ontario Canada, where fishing and friendly courteous service is our business. Island 10 Fishing Retreat is a remote, "all inclusive" American plan fishing lodge, without roads, where access is gained without flying. We are one of only a few fly-in fishing lodges where guests are comfortably ferried to our lodge by two different boats rather than flying. A short six hour drive north of Toronto, Ontario, 100 miles north of Nipissing and 50 miles north of Temagami in Northern Ontario, will put you on our Lady Evelyn Lake. As part of the Obabika and Lady Evelyn Smoothwater Provincial park, we boast some of the best Walleye, Northern Pike, and Smallmouth Bass fishing, available to the fishing vacationer. Whether you're a novice or master fisherman, a group of friends or family looking for that special fishing vacation, Island 10 Fishing Retreat has that something special for you.
Savor our weekly fish fry of Walleye, Northern Pike and Smallmouth Bass, prepared secretly several ways by our own Island 10 Chef. Shore lunches are equally as memorable with your own fish prepared and eaten on shore along with fried potatoes, golden brown beans and crispy onions. All other meals are served family style in our Main Lodge dining room. After a days fishing, relax in your private log cabin, equipped with Island 10 generated electricity, hot and cold running water, showers and flush toilets. Of course daily housekeeping service is provided for all guests.
Lady Evelyn Lake, over 30 miles long with 20,000 acres, and hundreds of miles of shoreline, is a fisherman's paradise. Unlike flying to our Island lodge, the 15 mile double boat ride from our private secure parking area at Mowatt's Landing, on the Montreal River, is used to point out the beauty of Northern Ontario and Lady Evelyn Lake as well prime fishing spots for Walleye, Northern pike and Smallmouth Bass are noted. Although Lake trout and Brook trout are not found in our main lake, we offer access to inland lakes and rivers providing fly fishing enthusiasts unparalleled adventures.
Our five or seven day American Plan fishing packages include everything you need for a real remote Northern Ontario fishing vacation. All you bring is your clothing and fishing tackle. Island 10 Fishing Retreat supplies everything else, including 16' Aluminum LUND boats, 15hp or 25hp Yamaha motors, gas, Fish finders, bait, meals, friendly courteous service, and of course plenty of fishing tips.
